Gustavo Badolati Racca é Arquiteto e Urbanista, graduado pela UFRRJ (2010), Mestre (2014) e Doutor (2018) em Urbanismo pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Urbanismo (PROURB/FAU/UFRJ). Seu campo de investigação científica está alinhado com os estudos urbanos e culturais por meio de suas representações e a produção de imagens e narrativas sobre a cidade em seus diferentes suportes, especialmente em suas manifestações em meios audiovisuais e fotográficos. Tem experiência profissional e acadêmica na área de projetos físicos e planejamento urbano, bem como em representação e expressão gráfica em Arquitetura e Urbanismo. Além disso, tem formação em Cinema, Fotografia e Ilustração. É Professor Adjunto do Departamento de Análise e Representação da Forma, na Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro DARF/FAU/UFRJ, onde leciona disciplinas na área de expressão gráfica; e pesquisador membro do Laboratório de Análise Urbana e Representação Digital LAURD/PROURB. Atualmente coordena a pesquisa Narrativas Coletivas sobre o Espaço Urbano: Cartografias Fílmicas da Cidade por meio de Documentários Colaborativos (NaCo.) que tem por finalidade a investigação do espaço urbano através da construção coletiva de narrativas sobre a cidade e da realização de documentário(s) colaborativo(s) a partir delas.

Gustavo Badolati Racca is an Architect and Urban Planner, graduated from UFRRJ (2010), Master (2014) and Doctor (2018) in Urbanism from the Postgraduate Program in Urbanism (PROURB/FAU/UFRJ). Its field of scientific investigation is aligned with urban and cultural studies through its representations and the production of images and narratives about the city in its different supports, especially in its manifestations in audiovisual and photographic media. He has professional and academic experience in the area of physical projects and urban planning, as well as in representation and graphic expression in Architecture and Urbanism. Additionally, he has a degree in Cinema, Photography and Illustration. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Shape Analysis and Representation, at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro DARF / FAU / UFRJ, where he teaches subjects in the area of graphic expression; and researcher member of the Urban Analysis and Digital Representation Laboratory LAURD/PROURB. Currently coordinates the research Collective Narratives about Urban Space: Film Cartography of the City through Collaborative Documentaries (NaCo.) which aims to investigate space urban through the collective construction of narratives about the city and the creation of collaborative documentary(ies) based on them.
