FAU UFRJ is fully located in the Jorge Machado Moreira building, consisting of 4 blocks interconnected by patios/gardens. The original project consisted of one more block and an acoustic shell.
The classrooms are predominantly in Block A, the library in Block B, the administration in Block C and the laboratories in Block D.
FAU UFRJ has two auditoriums for general use – Archimedes Memória, with capacity for 120 people, on the 3rd floor hall and Paulo Santos, with capacity for 100 people, on the 4th floor hall – and also two specific auditoriums for the programs post graduate.
